Salisbury Waitrose ATM targeted by masked thieves

POLICE say “potentially thousands of pounds” could have been stolen after an ATM was broken into in Salisbury.

Unknown suspects dressed in masks and balaclavas targeted the ATM at Waitrose in Churchill Way West on November 15 between 12.45am and 3.30am.

“Some of the suspects are then thought to have fled towards Ashley Road,” a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said.

“We are appealing for anyone who has seen or heard anything, or has Ring Doorbell or dash cam footage, to contact us on 101 quoting reference 54240135044.”
