Teens reportedly threatened man before stealing phone in Salisbury

TWO 17-year-olds have been arrested after they reportedly threatened a man before stealing his phone in Salisbury.

At around 6.30pm on Tuesday, January 28, the two teens reportedly damaged a black Renault esprit Alpine while riding bicycles along King Street.

Police say the teens then encountered a man, the victim of the damaged car, shortly after in Wilton Road, where it is alleged they assaulted him and stole his phone while threatening serious violence.

“Officers swiftly attended to locate, detain and arrest the suspects,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said.

“Both have been released on bail.

“We are appealing for information from anyone who witnessed either of these incidents.”
