A HEARTBROKEN family has paid tribute to a much-loved husband and father following a fatal collision near Collingbourne Ducis.

Antonio Monteiro, 43, from Andover, died after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a Land Rover and a Volkswagen ID3 on the A346.

In a poignant tribute, his family described a man whose warmth and kindness touched everyone around him.

They said: “It’s difficult to sum Antonio up in a few words as he meant a lot to his wife and son, family, friends and colleagues.

“Antonio had a massive heart, a contagious smile and was a very joyful person on top of being an amazing father and husband.

“He will be hugely missed by all but remembered for his love for motorbikes and his compassion for others.”

Tributes have continued to pour in for Antonio, who is being remembered not only for his passion for motorbikes, but for the love and joy he brought to those closest to him.
