COMEDY fans in Salisbury are being promised a night of “razor sharp wit and quick-fire punchlines” as three familiar TV faces take to the stage later this month.

The Guildhall’s historic Banqueting Hall will host an evening of stand-up on Friday, April 24, featuring comedians Josh Howie, Iszi Lawrence and Cerys Nelmes.

The intimate setting is expected to create the perfect atmosphere for live comedy, with organisers promising a packed night of laughs from start to finish.

Doors open at 7.15pm, giving audiences time to enjoy a drink at the venue’s brand-new bar before the show begins at 8pm.

Early bird tickets are available for £15 while stocks last, with general admission priced at £17.50 in advance or £20 on the door, subject to availability.

And in a light-hearted warning, organisers added: Salisbury City Council takes no responsibility for injuries sustained as a result of excessive laughter.

With a mix of well-known names and a cosy venue, the event is expected to be a popular night out for comedy lovers across the city.
