THIEVES who stole £1,800 worth of tools from two farms in Whiteparish and Landford at the weekend reportedly verbally abused the landowner on their exit.
Police said entry was forced to a farm in Whiteparish at 10.23pm on Saturday (January 4) and several power tools were stolen.
Following this, at 10.45pm, a silver Land Rover Freelander was seen leaving D&J Hayward Farm in Landford.
“The occupants had stolen power tools to the value of £1,800 and verbally abused the landowner on their exit,” a Salisbury Police spokesperson said.

“A white Renault panel van, which had been stolen from the farm, was then seen exiting onto the A36 Southampton Road.”
Officers want to speak to anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in these areas at the times stated.
