Two suspected drug dealers arrested after car stop in Salisbury

TWO men were arrested on suspicion of drug dealing after their car was stopped in Salisbury.

Officers were in Wilton Road shortly after 4.30pm on Tuesday (March 5) when they spotted a Hyundai Coupe believed to be involved in the supply of drugs in the area.

“Four men were seen to decamp from the vehicle,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said. “Two were detained and a search of the vehicle led to suspected cocaine and multiple mobile phones being located and seized.”

Two 18-year-old men from Salisbury were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

They were taken to Gablecross custody in Swindon for further questioning and have since been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
