A Salisbury care home resident has been described as “very special” on his 102nd birthday.
Beloved resident, Peter, received a t-shirt during his big day celebrations at Laverstock Care Centre in the city this week.
Theresa, the home’s admin officer and Emma, the home’s receptionist, came up with the idea of the birthday T-shirt.
Emma said: “Theresa and I choose birthday presents for each and every one of our residents, it’s one of the favourite parts of our job.
“Peter is very special and it was a pleasure to see his face light up on his special day.”
Peter previously celebrated his 100th birthday at the home, with his cake featuring some of his life’s milestones, demonstrating what staff say is his “wonderful character and community passion.”
