FAMILIES in Salisbury are being promised a “truly unforgettable” experience as some of Britain’s most beloved animated characters leap from screen to stage this spring.
Aardman in Concert is coming to Salisbury City Hall on Sunday, May 3, celebrating 50 years of the iconic animation studio behind Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and Morph.
The special event will combine classic film moments with the power of a live orchestra, giving audiences the chance to see – and hear – their favourite characters in a whole new way.
The show will feature a lively first half packed with highlights from Aardman’s history, including Wallace & Gromit’s adventures, Shaun the Sheep’s funniest scenes and appearances from much-loved characters that have become household names.

In the second half, audiences will be treated to a full screening of Wallace & Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death, accompanied live by an orchestra – bringing the music and action to life in real time.
Managing director of Carrot Productions Rachel Whibley said: “Celebrating 50 years of Aardman with our orchestra feels incredibly special.
“These are characters many of us grew up with, and now we’re seeing families bring their own children to experience them live.
“Bringing the show to Salisbury City Hall, a venue that has welcomed audiences for generations, makes it even more exciting. Creating something that parents, children and grandparents can enjoy together is exactly what Carrot, and our friends at Aardman, are about.”
