Welcome win as police recover three stolen bikes

THREE stolen motorbikes have been recovered in Salisbury following a joint operation between police and the council.

Officers located the motorcycles in the Bemerton Heath area yesterday (April 30) after working closely with Wiltshire Council.

The bikes have now been recovered and are expected to be returned to their owners, bringing a welcome outcome for those affected.

Police say the success highlights the value of partnership working and information sharing in tackling vehicle crime in the city.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the thefts.

The neighbourhood policing team has thanked the council for its support in helping secure the recovery.

Officers are now urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, particularly in relation to motorcycle theft.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or report online. Alternatively, people can pass on information anonymously via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
