A 20-YEAR-OLD serving Wiltshire Police officer is set to appear in court after he was charged with making indecent images of children.

Callum Denley, from Malmesbury, has been charged with making images that range in severity and include categories A, B and C, possession of an extreme pornographic image and possession of a prohibited image of a child.

He was suspended from duty when Wiltshire Police became aware of the matters, and his last day was yesterday (March 18).

He has been summoned to appear before court on April 3.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “As this is an active investigation, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”
