A WILTSHIRE Police staff member has triumphed at the Police Sport UK (PSUK) Southern Championships Blue Lights Horse Show.
Financial Investigator Hollie Clark took home multiple titles while proudly representing the Force.
Hollie and her horse Figgy competed at the annual event in Chard, Somerset, on August 8, with the pair delivering an outstanding performance in the show jumping arena.
Despite coming back after a six-week break due to poor weather, ground conditions and a busy schedule balancing work and family life, Hollie still managed to secure first place in the 90cm category, second place in the 1m category and first place in the 1.10m category.
She also walked away the PSUK Show Jumping Champion and Overall Show Champion.

Colleague Jasmine Swatton-Andrews was also due to appear at the show but due to significant traffic delays caused by a diversion on the M5, Jasmine was unfortunately unable to reach the venue in time for her classes and was forced to return home.
Speaking about the day’s successes, Hollie said: “The day certainly had its challenges before we even arrived, but once we got there, Figgy was fantastic. I hadn’t competed for more than six weeks, so I was delighted with how he performed.
“To come away with the Show Jumping Champion and Overall Show Champion titles was a brilliant achievement, and it was great to be part of a winning mixed services team too.”
During the competition, Hollie also joined competitors from Devon & Cornwall Police and the Royal Navy, to form a mixed services team, which went on to win the Team Show Jumping competition.
In memory of PC Andrew Harper and acknowledging recent events affecting officers across the country, Hollie displayed a Thin Blue Line flag as a mark of respect and solidarity with the wider policing family.
PC Harper was killed in the line of duty in Berkshire in 2019 when he and a colleague were responding to a report of a burglary. During the call, Harper was dragged behind a car for a mile suffering catastrophic injuries.
