POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman suffered serious injuries to her legs in a car crash on the A345 yesterday afternoon (April 2).

A Ford Ranger, a Hyundai i10 and a Peugeot Expert Van all reportedly crashed on the A345 at Netheravon at around 1.15pm.

A woman in her 70s – who was driving the Hyundai – suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment, where she remains.

A spokesperson said: “The road was closed to allow for recovery and enquiries and has since reopened.

“Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is asked to contact us on 101 quoting log 133 of yesterday’s date (02/04).”
