A WOMAN was left in a serious condition after a crash which left a vehicle on its side.

The air ambulance was sent to the scene, on the B3089 at Berwick St Leonard, at around 5.50pm on Monday (January 16) following a collision involving two vehicles.

One of the vehicles had flipped on to its side, Wiltshire Police said.

“The air ambulance attended the scene and a woman has been taken to hospital in a serious condition,” a spokesperson added.

“Our control room is continuing to receive multiple reports of black ice across the county and driving conditions are difficult.”
