Woman who went on graffiti spree in Salisbury charged

A WOMAN who tagged graffiti on “more than a dozen” buildings overnight in Salisbury has been charged by police.

Daniella Chester, 20, of Oxford Road, Bournemouth has been charged with 19 offences of criminal damage after targeting buildings on the evening of Sunday (March 23).

She was also charged with damaging Wiltshire Police property while in custody.

Police say she tagged several shop windows in the city centre.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Collaborative working between the area’s Neighbourhood Policing Team and CCTV operators resulted in a suspect being identified and arrested shortly after the first report.

“Chester was remanded in custody to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court this morning (March 25).”
