A MAN has been charged following a drugs warrant in Amesbury.

Daniel McDickson, 32, of Princess Way, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A and Class B drugs and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.

Specialist officers from the Local Police Tasking Team, supported by the Amesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team, executed a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address on Princess Way, Kings Gate, on February 26.

Police forced entry to the property where a man was located inside. He was detained and arrested at the scene.

Following an extensive search of the address, officers seized several mobile phones.

He appeared at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on February 27 and was remanded in custody.

He is due to appear in court again on April 1.
