STAFF and residents at a care home in Wilton recently took part in the vibrant Flip Flops and Flowers fundraising drive for Salisbury Hospice Charity.
Salisbury Hospice Charity challenged people to wear something floral and even don Flip flops or sliders to work throughout January in exchange for a £1 donation.

Residents, relatives and staff Wilton Place Care Home embraced the theme wholeheartedly with their bright and colourful outfits, pulling in £120.70.
Staff also hosted a health and wellbeing event in support of the charity including a beginners Pilates class and delicious, nutritious snacks and refreshments.


General manager at Wilton Place Care Home Antoinette Roberts said: “Taking part in this event has been a huge amount of fun. It’s for such an important cause.
“I’m very glad to be able to do my bit to raise further awareness and money for the Salisbury Hospice charity.”
