A TEN-YEAR old boy has sadly died following a crash with a van in Tidworth.

The crash happened at around 7.05pm yesterday (July 9) in Oak Close.

Police said the boy, a pedestrian, was declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the van, a man in his 40s, was stopped at the scene but no arrests were made.

Amesbury Police said: “His next of kin are aware and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.

“They are being supported by specially trained officers.”
