THE A30 to the northeast of Salisbury is currently closed due to a “serious” crash, police said.
The crash took place east of the St Thomas Bridge roundabout, with the road closed in both directions.
Police said they expect it to be closed for several hours and drivers are being asked to find alternative routes.
The AA said: “Road blocked and queueing traffic due to crash on the A30 both ways from A338 (St Thomas Bridge Roundabout) to Old Malthouse Lane.”
