ROCKBOURNE Fair is in full swing – but shoppers only have until 3pm tomorrow (October 18) to grab some early Christmas gifts.

Today (October 17) the fair will be open until 7.30pm for those who prefer to browse after work or enjoy a more relaxed evening experience.

The fair, which opened at Salisbury Racecourse on Wednesday (October 16), offers two floors of over 100 handpicked stalls, featuring an array of luxury homeware, cosmetics, jewellery, gourmet food, fashion, and gifts.

New for this year, shoppers can treat themselves to lunch from the Rockbourne Fair Menu in the recently renovated on-site restaurant, which includes offers on coffee and cake and prosecco.

Shoppers can also take part in the Rockbourne Fair prize draw to win a luxury picnic hamper worth over £100, with all ticket sales going to the Stars Appeal.

“Alongside returning favourites, visitors can explore new and exciting stalls, offering a diverse range of products that you won’t find on the high street,” a spokesperson said.

The three-day event is in support of the Stars Appeal – Salisbury Hospital’s Charity.

Bev Moulding, chair of the Rockbourne Fair committee, said: “We’re thrilled to see the fair in full swing and are so excited to welcome both new and returning visitors.

“The Rockbourne Fair has something for everyone – it’s the perfect opportunity to shop for unique gifts, catch up with friends over lunch, and most importantly, support the Stars Appeal, which does incredible work for Salisbury Hospital.

“Every purchase really does make a difference to local people at Salisbury Hospital.”

Money raised will go towards the £1million the Stars Appeal aims to raise this year to fund new equipment, enhancements to buildings, and ongoing projects supporting patients across Salisbury Hospital including the Stars Appeal wi-fi, hospital chaplaincy, support for patients with cancer and the Stars Appeal play assistant on Sarum Children’s Ward.

Helena Sinclair, of the Stars Appeal, said: “The funds raised from the fair will enable us to continue funding vital services and projects across Salisbury Hospital, enhancing the care for hundreds of patients every day.

Entry fee: £6 (special £3 entry after 6pm on Thursday).
