SARUM Academy in Salisbury is closed today due to issues with its water tank.
The secondary school in Westwood Road posted a statement on social media this morning.
It said: “URGENT CLOSURE. Our early morning checks have shown that our water tank is completely empty and has not filled overnight.
“Sincere apologies but without water, we will be unable to open today. Frustratingly, this is a different issue to the one we experienced last term.
“We hope to have this resolved today. We will keep Class Charts and Facebook updated. Online learning will be provided.
“BTEC exams will go ahead. Staff will be in contact with arrangements for this afternoon. Please share. Thank you all in advance.”
