Fake £50 note used in Salisbury sparks CCTV appeal

POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to after a counterfeit bank note was used in Salisbury.

The fake Scottish £50 note was used at the Morrisons Daily store in Blue Boar Row on July 24.

Police have now released images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

“If the pictured person is you, or if you know who they are, please contact PC McHoul on 71177@wiltshire.police.uk,” a Salisbury Police spokesperson said.

“You can also leave information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
