RESIDENTS are being invited to put their questions directly to the county’s most senior police officers during a live online event focused on tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).
Chief Constable Catherine Roper and Detective Chief Inspector Claire Smith will host a Facebook Live discussion later this month, outlining ongoing work across Wiltshire and responding to concerns from the public.
The event aims to open up the conversation around VAWG and give communities the opportunity to raise issues, share experiences and better understand how police are working to address offences ranging from harassment and stalking to serious violent crime.
Residents can submit questions in advance by commenting on the event post or by sending an anonymous question through an online form.
Questions can also be asked live during the broadcast.
The Facebook Live will take place on February 23 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
People wishing to take part can visit the Wiltshire Police Facebook page on the evening of the event.
