High-end retailer Rituals to open with goody bags and promos

LUXURY wellbeing retailer Rituals Cosmetics is set to open a new boutique at Old George Mall next month, with doors officially opening on March 18.

The store will offer Salisbury shoppers an immersive retail experience centred around the brand’s bath, body and home collections.

A programme of opening celebrations will follow on Saturday, March 21, featuring exclusive promotions and giveaways for customers.

The launch marks the latest step in Rituals’ UK expansion strategy, which focuses on bringing its luxury wellbeing concept to high-footfall retail locations.

The brand is known for combining body care, home fragrance and skincare ranges within a single portfolio, with products inspired by ancient traditions and designed to promote mindfulness in everyday routines.

Centre manager at Old George Mall Arnold Catterall said the arrival of Rituals would enhance the centre’s retail mix.

“Rituals brings a distinctive offer to Salisbury, and we’re pleased to welcome the brand to Old George Mall. Its focus on wellbeing and everyday luxury adds real value to the centre and strengthens our overall retail line-up,” he said.

Annemarie Forsyth, managing director of Rituals Cosmetics (UK & Ireland), said the company was looking forward to becoming part of the community.

“We’re excited to open our new boutique in Old George Mall in Salisbury,” she said.

“Our aim has always been to create small moments of calm in everyday life, and our bath, body and home collections are thoughtfully made to support wellbeing and encourage a more mindful pace, however busy the day gets. We can’t wait to welcome the Salisbury community into the new store.”

To mark the opening, the first 50 customers making a purchase will receive exclusive goodie bags.

Shoppers spending more than £45 will be given a complimentary mini reed diffuser, while foaming shower gels will be available at a promotional price.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2000, Rituals now operates in more than 33 countries, with over 1,300 stores and 3,900 shop-in-shops worldwide.

The company is a Certified B Corporation and has committed to increasing the proportion of natural origin formulas across its ranges, alongside improving the sustainability of its packaging.

The new boutique is expected to further strengthen Salisbury’s beauty and lifestyle offering, providing shoppers with a premium, experience-led retail destination in the heart of the city.
