HOBBYCRAFT is set to open a new store in Salisbury.
It will replace Argos in the Dolphin Retail Park on Southampton Road, sitting beside clothes retailer Next.
A soft launch will occur on Tuesday, February 27, with the “grand opening event” taking place the following Saturday, March 2.
This will include product offers, live craft demonstrations, a Snazaroo prize giveaway and free goody bags for the first 100 customers.
The company, which was awarded the ‘best big company to work for in the UK’ award by Best Companies in 2023, will create 13 new jobs for the area.

Emily Richards, store manager, said: “We are really looking forward to opening the doors to our Salisbury store and sharing our passion for arts and crafts with the local community.
“Over the last few years, we have seen more people than ever take up crafting and we want to encourage locals to come down to the new store and share their crafting experience.
“We look forward to providing Salisbury customers with the ultimate retail experience, combined with fantastic crafting products at great prices.”
The new location will also offer customers a range of experiences and dedicated craft spaces.
These include workshops, a digital cutting area, a haberdashery area and facilities for Hobbycraft Plus members – a subscription service helping small business owners scale their operations.
Hobbycraft will be at Unit 2A Dolphin Retail Park, Southampton Road, Salisbury, SP1 2LB, from February 27. For more information visit www.hobbycraft.co.uk.
