A MAN in his 30s was seriously injured in a crash on the A303 at Wylye yesterday.
The incident took place at about 1.20pm when a car is thought to have struck a stationary heavy goods vehicle.
The driver has been taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries and his next of kin have been informed.
The A303 was closed in both directions to allow emergency services to attend – although it is expected to reopen shortly.
Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam footage are asked to call 101 quoting log number 152 of yesterday’s date (08/01).
