Monthly networking sessions for women in the wellbeing sector

A CARE home in Salisbury is opening its doors to help bring together women working in the wellbeing sector.

Milford House Care Home in Milford Mill Road has teamed up with Wild Roots Women’s Collective Circle to host its monthly networking meetings, creating a relaxed and supportive space for women to connect and collaborate.

The Circle was founded by Sophie Chatfield, who set up the inclusive networking group for women running businesses or working within the wellbeing industry.

The group aims to provide an environment where like-minded professionals can share ideas, build connections and support one another’s growth.

The monthly gatherings are now held at Milford House, offering members the chance to meet in comfortable surroundings while strengthening links within the community.

Sophie said: “We appreciate the warm welcome Milford House gives us each month as we come together in beautiful surroundings to share this valuable time together.”

General manager Abhishek Bagchi said the home was proud to support community initiatives.

“We are only too happy to offer local groups meeting room space in our beautiful and comfortable lounges and dining rooms,” he said.

“Our head chef, Becky, is delighted to showcase our stunning homemade cakes and offer refreshments for our local community whenever the chance arises.

“Our extensive, accessible gardens are an added bonus to anyone who wishes to venture outside”.

Milford House is run by Barchester Healthcare, providing nursing care, residential care and respite care.
