New CCTV released after man attacked with screwdriver in Salisbury

POLICE have released new CCTV images after a man was attacked with a screwdriver in Salisbury earlier this month.

A man was attacked with an object police believe to be a screwdriver at the junction of New Canal and Milford Street at around 2.30am on December 3.

He sustained a puncture wound just below his eye.

“The suspect, described as a man wearing black with a face covering, is believed to have ridden away on a push bike,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said.

“He is thought to have been cycling around the city centre for some time before the incident.”
