Police hunt people throwing rocks at vehicles in Wiltshire village

POLICE are appealing for help to track down people who are throwing rocks and more at vehicles in a Wiltshire village.

Amesbury police said they had received a number of reports in recent months of items being thrown at vehicles in Collingbourne Ducis.

A spokesperson said there had been “numerous reports over the last few months about HGVs and other large vehicles being targeted on the A338 Tidworth Road, by St Andrews Church”.

“Rocks and other large items are being thrown at and causing damage to vehicles as they pass between the hours of 1am and 4am,” they added.

“This is extremely dangerous for road users and we are looking to the public for any information which may help our investigation.”
