Police want to speak to public who helped distressed woman in Salisbury

SALISBURY Police want to chat to members of the public who helped a woman who was in distress.

The woman was seen walking down Pembroke Road, Wilton Road, Fisherton Street and the City Centre between 3pm and 6pm on Monday (July 7).

She is described as being in her late 30s, wearing a black Chicago Bulls shirt, denim shorts and a black cap with a white peak.

The force said anyone who stopped to help the woman may be able to help them with an ongoing enquiry.

“A number of members of the public asked a woman if she was OK – we would like them to contact us,” a spokesperson said.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who may have been driving past and captured footage of the woman on Dash Cam.”
