TICKETS have gone on sale for Salisbury’s much-loved winter beer and cider festival – Winterfest.

Organised by the Salisbury & South Wiltshire branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), the event will return to The Guildhall on Friday, January 23 from 6.30pm to 11pm.

The festivities continue the following day on Saturday, January 24 from 11am to 8pm.

Up to 24 cask ales and ten ciders will be on sale, including traditional winter stouts, porters and milds – selected both locally and from further afield.

Drinks will be sold in half pint and one-third of a pint measures. Further details about the beers and ciders to feature will be published nearer the time.

Anyone wishing to attend is advised to book early as previous Winterfests have sold out.
