FIREFIGHTERS in Salisbury want to hear from schools and nurseries that could benefit from a lifesaving demonstrational visit.

The fires service regularly pops into educational settings to deliver enjoyable and interactive sessions on fire and water safety.

Recently, members of Green Watch visited Harnham Infant School where children had an excellent time learning about safety as well as the role of the modern fire and rescue service.

A Salisbury Fire Station spokesman said:  Why not start the new school term by booking a visit to your school? You can either visit our fire station, or we can come and visit your school.”
