27-year-old dies in crash on A360

A 27-YEAR-old man has sadly died after a car crashed on the A360 near West Lavington.

A VW Golf was travelling northbound along the road near Gore Cross just after 8pm yesterday (October 15) when it left the carriageway.

The 27-year-old driver sadly died at the scene despite best efforts by the emergency services.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Wiltshire Police is now appealing for any witnesses to get in touch.

The force said: “Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.

“Any witnesses to the collision, or anyone who may have relevant dash cam footage, are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597, quoting log number 306.

“Alternatively, the team can be contacted directly via email at SCIT@wiltshire.police.uk.”
