POLICE continuing their search for missing 81-year-old Philip have confirmed he boarded a bus from Salisbury to Bournemouth yesterday.
Officers say Philip is considered vulnerable and his family are increasingly concerned for his welfare.
They have confirmed that he was seen boarding the X3 bus from Salisbury to Bournemouth yesterday (December 29) at 11.40am, but it is currently unknown when or where he disembarked.
Philip is described as approximately 5ft 7ins tall, of average build, with white/grey hair.
He was last seen wearing a dark coat, jeans, and brown shoes.
His granddaughter has also released a photo of Philip taken in the past couple of weeks to help people identify him.
Inspector Tracy Santoni of Dorset Police said: “We are carrying out enquiries to locate Philip and are appealing to anyone who may have seen him, or a person matching this description, to get in touch.
“If you see this appeal, Philip, please contact us or your family as we want to make sure you are OK.”

Search and rescue teams, including Hampshire Search and Rescue Dogs, have been deployed to Salisbury to assist Wiltshire Police in locating a high-risk missing person as part of Callout 61.
Anyone with information about Philip’s whereabouts is asked to contact police on 999, quoting log number 121 of 28/12.
