TOPICAL debate programme Question Time is returning to Salisbury this month and you could be in the audience.
The BBC’s political Q&A show, hosted by journalist, newsreader and television presenter, Fiona Bruce, features a panel usually including a representative of the UK government and the official opposition along with representatives from other political parties.
The panel can also be made up of public figures including high-profile journalists, authors, television and radio broadcasters, comedians, business leaders from well-known companies, and leading academics, lawyers, police officers, and clerics.
Applications are now open for Question Time audience members in Salisbury who are being asked to come up with two questions to be considered for the show.
Programme makers would like as many applicants as possible to get the chance to be part of a Question Time audience so ask anyone who has taken part in the last five years to refrain from applying again.

A spokesperson said: “If you have been in a QT audience within the past five years we are delighted that you want to do it all over again, but please give others a chance and don’t apply this time round.
“If you have applied before but not been successful, we welcome your application.”
Everyone applying to be part of the studio audience is required to complete the online form on the Cast It website. The information is completely confidential and only used for the purpose of balance.
If you are unable to complete the online form, you can also apply by telephone by calling 0330 123 9988.
Successful applicants will be contacted on the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday before the programme. Due to the high volume of requests received they are unable to call everyone.
Salisbury has previously played host to Question Time, in January 2008, May 2009 and September 2016, held at Salisbury City Hall. The next BBC Question Time in Salisbury takes place on September 17.
