Salisbury creative agencies unite to form Unstuck Studio

A PAIR of leading Salisbury creative agencies have joined forces.

Unstuck Design and Sprout Brand Partners have revealed they are combining their operations.

The new entity, Unstuck Studio – or US for short – will see the 16-year local reputation of Unstuck combine with the national client base and service offering from Sprout.

The agency will continue to be based in the Salisbury area – in a new studio space in Wilton – bringing together a host of skills, including branding, print, video and motion graphics, exhibition, packaging, as well as the full raft of websites, app design and digital marketing, under one roof.

US will be led by managing director James Purves, the founder of Unstuck, and creative director Carl Groth, founder of Sprout.

“It’s a very exciting time for us all,” said James. “With a vast range of clients across a wide range of sectors, the combining with Sprout supports the Unstuck strategy to lead the market with joined-up thinking across all disciplines – whether that’s online or offline.”

Carl added: “The combination of our two agencies provides a major growth opportunity for both our businesses through an extended service offering for our clients.

“As organisations struggle to navigate and implement a cohesive brand across all media touchpoints, Unstuck Studio will be best positioned to support them on that journey.”

Despite both agencies boasting excellent reputations and award-winning success locally and nationally, Carl said the new name was a ‘signal’ of the change.

“The new name is a great way to signal the change we’re going through and how we view our employees and clients alike,” he said.

“The work we do as a team is always hand-in-hand with our clients – so, the US reflects how we approach each and every project – a collaborative team effort; a true partnership.”

Clients and employees from both businesses include Salisbury City Council, Five Rivers Environmental Contracting, The Den Kit Company, Woolley & Wallis Estate Agents, MJ Abbott, Monks Estate Agents, Salisbury District Hospital, Patchway Studios and the Stars Appeal.

“Our new brand and revised positioning will celebrate the combination of services we can offer new and old clients alike,” James added.

“This is a process of building something unique for the local area.

“The union of both agencies sees a real opportunity for growth.

“Unstuck Studio is currently looking to recruit straight away due to several new substantial client wins.”
