CCTV appeal after assault outside Salisbury takeaway

POLICE are keen to speak to these two people after a serious assault in Salisbury in the early hours of Sunday morning (January 5).

At around 3.30am, the victim – a man in his 20s – was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries after being assaulted in New Canal, outside Chick-O-Land.

A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been bailed while enquiries continue.

“We believe the two women in the photo were at the scene and potentially witnessed the incident,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said. “We would urgently appeal to them to come forward.”
