How you can help build a LEGO replica of Stonehenge this Easter

HUNDREDS of thousands of LEGO bricks are set to be transformed into a huge replica of Stonehenge later this month.

English Heritage is asking people to get creative this Easter and play their part in creating a replica of the World Heritage Site.

Attendees will be guided by master builders at the drop-in sessions from Saturday, April 12 to Monday, April 21 from 10am to 5pm.

More than 250,000 bricks are set to be used to construct the model of the world-famous prehistoric monument.

“Get creative this Easter and make a historical masterpiece with LEGO bricks,” an English Heritage spokesperson said.

“Join us in the marquee for a drop-in session where thousands of LEGO bricks will be transformed into a huge sculpture under the expert guidance of our master builders.

“Or, on Monday April 21, join us for a pull-apart party, where we’ll be taking the whole thing apart!”

Last year, English Heritage invited people to create three LEGO mosaics of Stonehenge, which took weeks to create and used 200,000 LEGO bricks.

This year’s event is open to everyone aged four and up.

The event is included with a Stonehenge admission ticket and is free to English Heritage members.
