Sarum Lights delights visitors on opening night

MORE than 1,400 people were welcomed to Salisbury Cathedral last night (November 5) for the world premier of Sarum Lights: Time.

The brand-new light and sound spectacular, created by Luxmuralis kindly and supported by CCLA is only on until this Saturday (November 9).

With light and sound installations on the west front, in the cloisters and throughout the interior of the cathedral, visitors can traverse wormholes, venture inside the intricate workings of clocks and experience a dramatic narrative that stretches from the present day back to the very beginning of time.

“There is also an interactive section called A Note to Myself, where visitors can write a note to themselves (either former or future) which will be added to an ever-growing display throughout the week,” said a spokesperson for the event.
