A HOME in Amesbury has been partially closed by police over “ongoing anti-social behaviour”.
The property, in Denton Drive, is the subject of a three-month court-issued Partial Closure Order.
Officers and staff from the Amesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team were allowed to issue the order after presenting evidence to Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on September 22.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said the application was “supported by several months of enquiries and intelligence gathering”.
“The order remains in place until December 22 and copies have been affixed to the front and rear of the property,” they went on.
“The application was made due to ongoing concerns relating to anti-social behaviour, disorder and noise associated with those living at and visiting the address.”

“The tenant was informed of the conditions and offered a range of support options moving forward,” the police spokesperson said.
“Regular, unannounced checks will now be carried out at the property. Officers have powers of entry under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 to ensure compliance with the order.
“Any person who enters or remains on the premises in breach of the order commits an offence and may be arrested. If convicted, they may be liable to a fine, imprisonment, or both.”
Suspected breaches of the order should be reported to Wiltshire Police on 999, quoting reference 54260105561.
