A NEW stone staircase has been created at the Avon Valley Nature Reserve in Salisbury to make it safer for dogs to access the water.
This work comes after Salisbury City Council, alongside volunteers from the Salisbury Wildlife Group completed riverbank repairs to restore an area that had ben worn down by dogs accessing the water.
A city council spokesperson said: “Despite tough conditions, volunteers powered through to create something that benefits both the community and the environment.
