PEOPLE are being asked for their views before Salisbury City Council’s budget is decided for 2026/27.
The survey, which launched today (October 6), will help the council understand residents’ priorities, with results to be shared with councillors who will then decide what to spend the money on.
It asked people how happy they are about how the council allocates its budget, the three main areas funding should be prioritised on and whether people would prefer to pay less council tax for reduces services.

Councillor Sam Charleston, leader of Salisbury City Council, said: “I encourage everyone to complete the survey and play an active role in shaping Salisbury City Council’s budget for 2026/27.
“It only takes a few minutes to complete, and your feedback is essential to help us understand your priorities.”
For those unable to complete the online form, a face-to-face consultation will take place at Salisbury Charter Market on October 11, 14 and 18 where the survey can be completed in person.
The survey closes on 8pm on October 19 and can be access by clicking here.
