A DIETITIAN at the Salisbury NHS Foundation is celebrating after being recognised with a national award.
Becca Murphy’s commitment to patient care saw her win an award in the CN Awards, presented by Complete Nutrition magazine.
This accolade recognises excellence and achievement in clinical, medical and health nutrition, and acknowledges those individuals, groups and organisations that have gone above and beyond, making a positive contribution and significant difference to the nutrition profession.
The award was sponsored by medical nutrition service company Nutricia Homeward, who said that Becca’s ability to innovate, educate and advocate had earned her trust-wide recognition, and made a lasting impact on patients, families and colleagues.

Becca said: “It really is a privilege to do this role. I feel lucky to work for a Trust who can see the value dietitians can bring outside their usual scope of practice.
“I’d also like to recognise senior dietitian Clare Lewis who originally set up the dietetic service – her vision and hard work created the foundation we continue to build on today.
“I’m really proud to carry that forward and to keep doing everything we can to give patients the best care possible.”
