A WILTON care home has been getting in the festive spirit with a special Christmas Fayre bringing together residents, staff, relatives and local community members.
This joyful event at Wilton Place not only celebrated the beginning of the Christmas period but also strengthened bonds throughout the community by supporting Salisbury Hospice Charity.
Visitors to the Fayre enjoyed a vibrant array of stalls, manned by the home’s staff and enthusiastic local vendors.
There was something for everyone, from exquisitely crafted Christmas cakes and a lively bottle tombola to an assortment of handmade crafts and fascinating collectables.

There was a selection of stalls to peruse.
The variety and quality of items on offer reflected the care and effort invested by all those involved.
A highlight of the Fare was the raffle, featuring generous donations from all stall holders as well as a stunning Christmas tree gifted by In-excess.
Staff were touched by a beautiful handmade card, created by a relative of one of the residents, which depicted the care home and two of its dedicated staff members – general manager Antoinette Roberts and activities coordinator Fiona Long.
The Fayre fostered a warm and festive atmosphere while raising an impressive £150 for Salisbury Hospice.

Antoinette said: “At Wilton Place, we are dedicated to making sure that the home is a hub of the local community, and this event, along with everyone’s hard work, has definitely paid off.
“It was a resounding success! I am so proud of everyone involved, it was a fantastic team effort.”
