Tickets for popular Winterfest 2026 are selling out fast

TICKETS have already sold out for the Saturday session of Salisbury’s popular winter beer and cider festival as demand surges for one of the city’s best-loved seasonal events.

Organised by the Salisbury & South Wiltshire branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), Winterfest will return to The Guildhall in the city centre from January 23 to 24.

While Saturday is now fully booked, a limited number of tickets remain for the Friday evening session, and organisers are urging beer lovers to book quickly to avoid missing out.

The festival opens on Friday, January 23, from 6.30pm to 11pm, before continuing on Saturday, January 24, from 11am until 8pm.

Tickets cost £10 and include a free festival glass.

“Winterfest is a hugely popular event in Salisbury, brightening the late January gloom and giving people the chance to sample beers and ciders that they would not normally be able to find in the Salisbury area,” said Ilya Klekovkin, festivals organiser for the Salisbury & South Wiltshire branch of CAMRA.

Festival-goers can look forward to a carefully curated selection of up to 24 cask ales alongside at least six ciders, with a strong focus on traditional winter styles such as stouts, porters and milds.

This year’s line-up includes beers from across the Midlands and the north of England, offering flavours rarely seen locally. Highlights include Rucked, a 5.2% ABV ruby ale from Front Row Brewery in Staffordshire; Raven, a 4.8% ABV dark mild from White Rose Brewery in Yorkshire; Comfortably Numb, a 4.2% ABV pale ale from Leicestershire’s Leatherbritches Brewery; and Optimum, a 4.2% ABV best bitter from Deeply Vale Brewery in Lancashire.

Local favourites will also be well represented, with beers from Hop Back, Downton Brewery and Stonehenge Ales among those on offer. Drinks will be available in half-pint and third-pint measures, allowing visitors to sample a wide range.
