A MAN has been arrested over an alleged hate crime at a Salisbury takeaway.
The incident occurred at Chick-O-Land, in New Canal, at just after 2am on July 20.
“A man in his 30s from Warminster has been arrested on suspicion of racially/religiously aggravated harassment, threats to kill, assault of an emergency worker and using threatening/abusive words/behaviour likely to cause harassment,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said.
He has been released on bail pending further enquiries and officers are keen to hear from witnesses on 101, reference 54240084783, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
