ONE biker was killed and another injured after a car hit three motorcycles on the A303 – with one person arrested.

The incident unfolded near Charnage at around 10.30am on Sunday morning (June 29), Wiltshire Police said, when a Citroen C5 travelling east hit three motorbikes.

“Sadly, the rider of one of those motorcycles, a man in his 60s, was declared dead at the scene,” a police spokesperson said. “A second motorcyclist sustained life changing injuries, and the third was uninjured.”

A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drug driving and remains in custody.
