Jason Kempster charged over dead animals dumped at community shop

JASON Kempster has been charged over an incident which saw dead animals dumped outside a village shop.

The 37-year-old, of Marchwood Road in Totton, has been charged with possessing live or dead wild birds or parts, as well as criminal damage.

The charges come after around 50 dead hares, a kestrel and a barn owl were discovered outside Broughton Community Shop, in the High Street, on the morning on March 15.

Kempster is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Tuesday, September 10.
