A PEDESTRIAN has died after a crash near Woodhenge.
The incident happened on the A345 at around 12.20am on Sunday morning (November 13).
Police said a van was travelling northbound on the A345 when it was ‘in collision with a pedestrian’.
“The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, sadly died at the scene,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson said.
“Our thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time.
“A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving while disqualified. He was taken to custody in Melksham and has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.”
