A MUCH-LOVED festival is gearing up for a near sell-out return with families and music fans snapping up the last remaining tickets.
Cursus Festival will be back on the Cranborne Chase from May 22 to 24, bringing a packed weekend of live music, camping and family-friendly activities to Myncen Farm in Minchington.
Organisers say demand has been high, with family weekend passes – which include free entry for under-18s – close to selling out.
Saturday day tickets are also expected to go soon, driven in part by the popularity of headline act Peat & Diesel.
The line-up also features a mix of well-known and emerging acts, including Land Of The Giants, Black Water County, The Hempolics and Skimmity Hitchers, alongside RuMac, Samantics and Pronghorn.
Now in its 11th year, the festival has built a reputation as a small but vibrant event, with just 500 tickets available.

Organisers are set for sell-out weekend
Its intimate feel and relaxed atmosphere have made it a popular choice for both first-time festivalgoers and seasoned music fans.
Set in a rustic farm setting, Cursus offers more than just music.
Families are drawn by its dedicated DIY Den area, where children can take part in activities, learn new skills and make friends.
Elsewhere on site, visitors can expect a DJ tent, rural crafts, live wrestling and even a record shop.
The festival is also one of the few to welcome dogs, adding to its laid-back and inclusive appeal.
Festival organiser Kev Davis said: “Now that spring is here, people are getting excited again for outdoor weekends, live music and camping. Cursus is a simple, down to earth festival that brings people together for all the best reasons. Book now and get ready for a memorable weekend!”
With camping options for both tents and live-in vehicles, organisers are urging anyone planning to attend to book soon before tickets are gone.
