A dramatic Sunday at The Ray Mac saw SALISBURY defeat FC Chippenham Youth with a penalty shootout win.
Despite taking the lead on three occasions through Ellen Clarke, Zoe Alcock and Rio Goodings, Chippenham came from behind to keep them in the game as they pushed the game into extra time and then penalties.
With Chippenham taking the opening penalty of the shootout, Kenni Clarke became an instant hero making a save to immediately put the visitors on the back foot. Successful spot kicks from Nikki Frier, Zoe Alcock, Rio Goodings and Amy Sanger meant it was all down to Nicky Millings to send the Whites to the final. Despite the pressure, Millings sent her penalty straight down the middle and secured the shootout win.
Salisbury will now face the tough task of Purton, who remain unbeaten in league and cup , in the final.
